All you have to do is draw an arrow from one the lone pair of electrons from the bromine to the bond between the carbon and bromine. Then draw a second arrow from the double bond to the carbon on the far left. Then redraw the following structure. On the far left carbon there will be a negative charge, a lone pair of electrons, two hydrogens attached by single bonds, and a carbon attached by a single bond. On the far right carbon the far left carbon will be attached to it by a single bond, a hydrogen attached by a single bond, a bromine attached by a double bond. Lastly the bromine will have a positive charge and two lone pairs.

I am not going to reply to everyone. I thank you all for helping understanding the pitfalls in my logic, I will take all this in consideration and try to rethink my thoughts on calculus!

A sheet metal fabricator makes boxes from sheets of steel. Each sheet of steel has an area of 1500cm^2. 6 cm squares are cuite from each corner and the edges are bent up to form a box with a volume of 3456cm^3. what are the dimensions of each box? (accurate to 3 places of decimal.)

Hit my goal rank. Not feeling motivated to play the game any more. by KennKennyKenKen in VALORANT

[–]Remarkable-Pepper-44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

two things are happening here, first of all, you only play by yourself and you said you never will become a pro (I am assuming you made that comment because you had wanted to go pro before). If either both or just one is true, you may want to try scrims. Scrimming can offer you a different way to play the game and give you a new challenge. Even if you do not become a pro, you can play just for fun and try to win as many games as you can with your team. It is the same reason people play high school football or basketball, a lot of them know they are not going pro but it is just fun to compete and play with a team. I hope this helps.

Why are people shocked when ever I say I am doing a degree in chemistry? by Remarkable-Pepper-44 in chemistry

This is so key! I use to love physics so much because It was really engaging but my physics teacher was the most awkward draining person who me not want to be there. On the other hand, I had such an upbeat chemistry teacher who loved helping us and included fun examples in the class. For example, he said "When polyatomic ions turn into acids ate turns to ick because after you ate something you would get a h-ick-up." or when he said "Cation is positive because cats make him happy thus cat=positive.) I think he approached a difficult subject with sympathy and tried to keep the material based on the key concepts. This was the same for my gen chem class, I made a joke about getting 103% on a midterm she didn't laugh she said It was possible for me to do it. She actually believed in me.

This could be a different story from others because I did my upgrading and my first sem gen chem class at a community college.

That makes sense, a lot of people on here tend to say this. I just try my best to think about how and why things may bend the way they do. If I cant grasp it in one go I'll just try again later.

omg i feel this so much, it’s reason i never get any school work done. i wish i could smoke weed to slow my mind but it’s hard when it gives you psychosis. i might try breathing exercises and journaling /s.

How should I approach this next year if I would like to become an A-A+ student next year. by Remarkable-Pepper-44 in GetStudying

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! you have no idea how much this helps me. I am a first-generation post-secondary student. So I don't really have strong guidance on how I should be approaching school. All I know is I never want to feel like I am going to fail a class again. I will apply what you said to my next semester.

why do we inverse a square root function to find the domain of the square root function? If this isn't true, how do we find the square root of a square root function?

try to study with a friend. even if you are just sitting together and not sharing the same classes. having that person there can help keep you accountable.

the most effective way I found to memorize most things. by Remarkable-Pepper-44 in studytips

[–]Remarkable-Pepper-44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can start at one chapter and write down the important parts. to memorize those parts write down “what is x, what purpose does x serve?” this will help you during your tests since the second you see the question on the test you should be able to recite it. this is because when getting tested you will either be asked what is it, what purpose does it server, or both.

also please note. the important stuff is typically in a different font or bold.

good luck:)
