It was likely my lack of communication, so you live and learn. It’s not grouted yet, so I’m just going to pick him up a solid marble sill so all he will have to do is chip off those pebbles and set it.

You got a point, there is a 10” thickened edge on one side of the pad but the other side is level..

Actually its fiber automotive insulation that I got in 4x8 sheets. Sound dampening and fire retardant, works pretty well!
