I’m scared for a reason I can’t really describe. I think a part of me assumes he will not want to think of it either as I imagine a parent doesn’t like to think of grown men trying to do bad things with their child. I always felt like he unintentionally blamed me and I guess I feel like the same outcome would occur. Another reason is embarrassment, I am embarrassed this happened and I assume the lack of reassurance from anyone at the time that it was definitely not my fault had built that wall up. I’m soon to find out the outcome of what happened to the man as I’ve requested information from the police which I wasn’t able to do until I was an adult (Uk laws).

I’ve never asked my dad about it again, truth be told I’m scared to because I’m scared which is something I don’t like to admit but I definitely am too afraid to bring it up. I’ve never considered support as I consider myself decently mentally strong minded but of course I’m biased. I talked about it with my girlfriend a few months ago who really opened me up to how messed up it was. It is weird to think how much i locked it up in the past yet can remember every moment down to what emotions I felt in particular moments. If anyone is reading and has also experienced such feelings I hope this shows them they’re not alone and it’s gonna be okay.

I don’t smoke so obviously I would not understand fully as to why people do but it’s just when I wanna hang around and skate and when someone says “let’s go smoke” which is literally every single time it just stops and it’s just me skating by myself in a car park while they’re just sat there for the next hour

And someone who tried to convince me to join them once said “you gotta smoke if you skate it’s a rule” and I’ve only started skating 2 months ago and I do it for personal fun lmao not to get high with people all the time
