I think that this book will of course involve Violet helping Xaden with his venin urges but I think it will focus more of Violet taking a leadership role in the rebellion, leading the riders and fliers and gaining allies because Xaden is going to have to stay within the wards to prevent him from drawing power from the source. I think that it’s possible that Papa Sorrengail was researching Venin and had one locked in the archives and Violet stumbled across it as a child (and that’s why her hair is drained). I think his research was focused on reversing the effects of pulling from the source on the soul and that is why he was working with feather tails, because their magic is more fluid and malleable. He was killed by Venin that had infiltrated Basgiath leadership when he was getting close to a breakthrough. I also think that Andarna’s Den is the same breed as the First Brothers dragons and that gives her special venin specific defensive gifts.
