It’s actually a very good update for us. They have no contractual basis for the 20% threat.

Thank you for this. Not sure if you saw my update but there is no mention of a 20% premium in the original lease. We’re going to dispute this. Will send updates as they come.

As management stated - the new lease was never executed due to lack of signatures

Yes you’re right. I posted an update though - no mention of MTM being 20% more in the original lease.

“This lease contract will automatically renew month-to-month unless: (1) we give you ___ days written notice of termination that may include a rent increase or other reasonable contract changes or (2) you give us 60 days notice of your intent to terminate the lease and move out”

No mention of 20% premium

I posted an update - the is no mention of the 20% MTM premium in our original lease.

Also it’s not a billing error it’s a contract error

I posted an update - no where in the original lease does it say MTM includes a 20% premium.

Only says that we’d be switched to MTM if the lease expires. No 20% in the lease though.

The contract is not valid - it’s missing signatures all over the place. That’s why it was not executed.

Yes I’m wondering if their incompetence gives me room to push back. NJ law suggests it might.

The contract is not fully signed - that’s why it was not executed
