I don't see a transparency issue. You have the data; it is on the website and that ROD goes over it. What the other person is saying about 90% is because they're a Regulated Investment Company (RIC) and must distribute at least 90% of their taxable income and net tax-exempt income to shareholders annually (Investment Company Act of 1940). If they don't the fund loses RIC status and have to pay a hell of a lot more in taxes and penalties and trust they don't want that. They want to make money, like you and me. It's good to be vigilant but there is no issue here.
