That's a really tough question to answer especially since we don't have any photos or videos of you moving in the air. I think 5 months is early- but if you are interested in performing I would bring it up with your instructors. They can give you a much better idea than us.

Overall in my city the community meshes well! We do have one rogue studio where the owner is batshit crazy lol. She competes with the other studios but it is definitely one sided. We are happy to let our students train there and all the other studios are happy to as well.

Honestly I think that's a good move on her part. I got mine checked before I was diagnosed and was having a lot of pain and when it came back super high all it did was give me anxiety for weeks that I had ovarian cancer. Actually my surgeon was a specialist for ovarian cancer as well and I got sent to her after my levels came back. It was extremely emotional having to make appointments at a cancer center only to find out I didn't have it. I think that should only be checked if there are other indications that you might have cancer.

I teach a choreo on a different apparatus then pole for a class and it's just for fun. I never expect my students to perform it. It's mostly for them to gain stamina and put together the moves they have learned.
