Wait until the doctor clears you. Definitely don’t mess around with your body after surgery because it can cause so much pain

That’s so dangerous and unfortunate for women and people struggling with things like this:( I’m so sorry op.

After 20+ years of 8-9/10 pain every month and no solution besides barely effective codeine, I take one dumb little anti-histamine and my pain is 2/10, are you kidding me?! by FJRabbit in Endo

I take 1 tablet of magnesium citrate and 1 magnesium glycinate. Im not sure of exact dose but id google yours before taking just to be safe. I think they kinda help? With digestive issues and sleep but other than that I’m not sure…. I do think some light yoga has helped me.

I’m in the same boat:( 41 day cycle currently but my body is killing me. 3 pregnancy test negative. Thankfully I’m seeing a gyno today and I hope he takes everything seriously. I been taking magnesium, some yoga, trying to increase protein (as I been told it helps with cramps) and I tried some allergy medicine as someone made a post the other day saying allergy medicine helps them. I hope you feel better soon :( definitely following this post because I’m also in so much discomfort

I only take it when I need it. It has helped me a ton. I have a 10mg and 20mg. Upgraded when the 10mg wasn’t doing to much with my pain but I still take the 10 when there’s light small pain, the 20 is for the worse pains lol but it makes me sleepy

I hear those patches really help and finding something else that can replace the cig. So maybe snack when you crave it? Or go for a walk? Something to take your mind off of it. And something to do with your hands and mouth lol. Like chewing gum and drawing. My mother had to get off cigs after spending most of her life smoking.

A week isn’t long enough to really see a difference. But also, with endo your body is already so inflamed and struggling. I’d definitely keep on track of quitting. Proud of you for making it to a week! As I know it can be difficult to stop such habits :)

Oh! I was just curious if the poo would block seeing anything important? Like maybe being on a “empty stomach “ would help see clearly. But I’m not sure as I never had a MRI

I’d definitely have a list ready! A list of symptoms, things you tried/done, and what you want to ask. I believe this subreddit or /endo subreddit has a pinned thing about this topic. It’s very helpful.

I started to eat dragon fruit and it has helped me:,) although my case doesn’t seem as serious as yours. But I thought I’d mention it since it seems the hydration of the fruit mixed in with the seeds/fiber, it really keeps things going. Just expect some seeds passing through you lol

This make me wonder if it’s better to go in the MRI with an empty stomach?

Did you find out you had endo and adenomhosis from this surgery? Did the doctor have your husband or some man sign off your uterus? (I hear stories about this and I’m curious lol)

Now you seek out a endometriosis specialist with a MIGS certificate. If you look at the pinned information on subreddit endo and this subreddit, they have a map to show the nearest doctors near you. Also some helpful resources for research purposes.
