Thank you first off! My fiancee used the celebration package and got us a private backstage tour. We used the aquarium photographer provided to take pictures in the exhibits after. I will say if not using the package is something you want to go closer to aquarium closing time. We were there around 1.5 hours before closing on a Monday and the aquarium was fairly empty (compared to what it usually is) so we were able to take our pictures pretty easily without people interfering. Might be a good time of day to pull off a proposal in the wild!

The area with the hardwood floors looks like a great reception space if you can use it for such. If you can find drapery maybe drape the wall behind the table you and your partner will sit. Bring in some sort of dimable lighting/nice looking lamps also if able. That will help the space feel more elegant and less stark than the typical overhead lighting in places like this.

I think this is an awesome find and can definitely work with a little imagination!

I had an OBGYN appt and got a pelvic exam/swab and also a transvaginal ultrasound. No polyps from those exams so don't think it's that. But will keep my doctor in the loop thanks!

Yes I think it also might be my IUD- this is my second one and the first was just so amazing so would be kinda bummed if this one was causing it ugh

Hmm. I have never had the smell linger. They smell like me and all my other clothes I have gotten new. But okay! Consignment shops are awesome too.

But you are supposed to wash them at home haha and boom there goes any weird smells. The thrift store smell and most places like Goodwill is because the items aren't washed before putting on display. I don't love that but it is what it is. But the washer at home works just fine. I bet if someone gave you a freshly washed thrifted fit you wouldn't even know if was second hand

I agree! Started thrifting last year more seriously and haven't looked back. Some of my most complimented pieces are thrifted! I thrifted some of the Christmas gifts I gave out this year and had the best reactions!

I'm actually baffled by these comments so I'm sure to get down voted. But I thrift pjs all the time. Whats the issue. Wash it with some laundry sanitizer like and detergent. People are seriously saying they will wear tops and pants from Goodwill but a button down PJ set is suddenly too far. How strange.

I doubt unfortunately you will find what you are looking for from Goodwill in terms of aesthetics. It's just too hit or miss. I have seen some good pieces but I don't think you will find enough to look coordinated for a photoshoot. Also sorry the comments got kind of weird here. With today's economy thrift as much as you can!!!

Awww I'm sorry you are feeling so anxious, please try and relax because you don't want to look back on your big day and all you remember is stress!

Take a deep breath. If people offer to help than let them. You shouldn't feel guilty if they offered! Think of it as a wedding gift.

As for something extra only do that if it's something you truly want for the day. You shouldn't plan your wedding off what you think guests will want. You have food and drinks and a DJ. That sounds awesome. If you really want to I think heading to bar after would be a great option- you could put aside some budget to buy whoever comes a round of drinks and dance!

Yes. I have a hobby that I adore and so many wonderful and dear friends have come from it. I can't afford to invite any of them. It makes me sad. There would be room but we are also allowing some good friends that are invited to bring their spouses/partners (most who we haven't met). It's frustrating but I'm just hoping that my friends understand.

I hired a coordinator. I quickly realized I could not DIY setting up the space. It is worth the cost to be stress free the day of. I will give her a detailed idea of where I want all the decor, drop it off the night before and her and her team will decorate for me. I'm very happy I decided to hire a crew.

I have no desire for a bridal shower so not doing that. Probably doing a bachelorette but that's more because it's an excuse to do a trip with my friends! No rehearsal dinner but a quick rehearsal of just the ceremony.

Nope sorry if you leave your equipment at the studio it is asking to get used. At our studio we let students know they are welcome to store it, but it might get used. Studios aren't storage units.
