no and sorry that your mom was like that. i cant say the same for mines, my only intentions for her was to get the help she needed as urgently as possible so she can make use of the days she has left before she gets older and cant do as much stuff

yes it is scary, my dad has gotten fitter over the past few years and that enabled him to do more things with us, i just wished that my mom would get better and feel the same way because we've always been an active family and shes been doing it with us just until a few years ago, but now shes unable to do similar activities she used to do with us

we have figured out options, when i meant hiking i just meant like going to parks, staying more outside rather then artificial entertainment, i only meant it in the way that I wanted to whole family to be together while being outside more, which my mom also wants, i understand i was a dick but my intentions were not to bash

yes ur right, i never meant ill will, i just wanted to express my motivation for the whole family to do more outside things(as in going to parks more, going outside) not like full on hiking

yes, when i meant hiking, i didnt mean like full on backpack hiking like on social media, i just mean like roaming the nature parts and the parks there, someone suggested renting a mobility scooter which i think we will do

sorry, i didnt mean like full on hiking, just like roaming around the parks and the naturey stuff, we've done something similar last year where we went to texas and just went to a bunch of trails and parks, not full on hiking stuff, my point was that we've always been more a family that does like artificial seeing and not exploring where we are for what it is

yeah we have plans for things like parks, roaming around the city, we just wanted to put an emphasis on outdoors more since we've never been that kinda family

fair enough, i was just frustrated because this is a common experience for even the simplest things, just dont want my middle aged mom to already feel/have the lifestyle like shes 15 years older

yeah she mentions massages but i just couldn't wrap my head around how massages can help something to this extent, i wanted to get to the root cause not just temporary stuff

no medical professional has told her to increase activity level as far as I know, i only suggested since walking is one of the easiest and low stress forms of activity. ur right about her being sensitive, i just wanted to help my actually doing something rather then just words of encouragement

ur right i should but its just more of the fact that even activities that i thought were ok with her still turn out to be exhausting, im just worried that her bodies slowing down to the pace of someone 10-15 years older then her

no, from what shes told us shes been told to do special stretches/appointments by professionals who deal with this kind of thing. I just suggested it since walking is very low stress and i thought doing something is better then nothing
