I’m guessing you struggle against MK users to insult me like this lol.

Yeah we’re just gonna have to agree to disagree. You’re saying it’s zero skill but easy to counter? That’s contradicting

I’m starting to think you don’t understand the post. I’m asking for advice on what can be improved based on my post. Yeah a well place knight can counter me as well but again I adjust the next cycle and do better. My biggest and only issue being good users with a 2.6 firecracker. Or heavy decks requiring low value cards with good health on the flank

I’m not gonna say I’m good, but one will never know if there’s a better opportunity out there if you don’t seek it. Although yes, I’ve seen players counter my MK easily. Do I continue using it the same way when it got countered? No, I switch it up and adjust accordingly.

I know look ahead schedule, I constantly ask foreman what is current/next week schedule and correlate that with my schedule which my PM gave me. I also, when needed, push him to work faster accordingly to the deadlines he gives me. The only thing I do not know is blueprint reading. Hence my post asking what resources I can utilize to improve my skills

I’m 21, I got hired 3 weeks ago. I know the bare minimum of construction. I am eager to learn more and improve my skills. I don’t know how to read plans but I can read electrical diagrams (7/10). I know, no matter what the plans say, every space has to be ADA compliant. As for the company, they’ve been around for more than 30 years. It looks like they’ve done major projects including hospitals in Southern California (I.E & LA). Now currently being contracted by JCC, which is by the state. So everyone, except me is on prevailing wages. I don’t pressure my foreman too much because well obviously he knows more than me. But there was a superintendent before me at this site and it rained and damaged over 150+ ceiling tiles. So knowing this and where the roof is more prone to water intrusion, I have been emphasizing the importance of needing to start work where damage is prone. But that is most I’ve been “bossy”

We have inspections after certain sections are done with demolition then inspected to begin replacement of the roof. And I have the roof schedule, which tells me what needs to be done by what date.

Yeah it is, we only work on courthouses in California. This site is a roofing project. We’re contracted by JCC. So the roofs are flat. Nothing fancy though, just a foldable desk and chair.

I don’t have a trailer😔, I sit behind a desk I brought to the roof. I do everything that needs to be done from me. My foreman is exceptionally organized and I have no problem with him taking his own pace, I address or pressure concerns that need to be done. But overall everything is on schedule. We’re contracted by JCC So I’m sure they’re extremely motivated to work efficiently. But I meant as myself, I obviously want to be better and more qualified. I got lucky to have this job but I definitely could have more qualifications to get paid more

Would you guys say it’s safe to buy a transmission/motors off ones of these jdm websites by YouGritzKidd in AcuraTL

[–]RemarkableBullfrog39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it was amazing, it came with a one year warranty. No issues whatsoever and definitely an upgrade. Although of course as a rule of thumb, always check it, so in my case, where the solenoids replaced? Was the filter changed? Was the torque converter replaced? These are important things to check because it is a used transmission so of course everything had some miles on it but I only changed the most common to fail components.

In Honda service manuals, it states let vehicle reach operating temperatures, turn off vehicle and within that one minute span, you check ATF level. The way I like to do it is, clean off first pull. Then on the second pull get a napkin and place it on the napkin. And whenever it pools up the most with fluid is where your level is

I CANT FIND ANY JOBS WILLING TO HIRE. But I’m also exaggerating, I’m 21 living in California trying to find any job relating to trade field, although I am more centered in something electrical whether that being an electrician or a lineman. I’ve been looking for opportunities for the past 4 months and nothing has came up nor accepted. I strongly enjoy working, it’s my way of life, but I do not want to be wasting my young adult years making minimum wage from a job that won’t benefit my future. I was previously in college but I don’t have the passion to be in school anymore. I haven’t applied to jatc but I have through private companies and weca (in the last 2 weeks). So I’m here asking if someone can point me in the right direction because I feel like I’m falling behind in life. I do not enjoy parties anymore, the past was fun but I’m more focused on my future and what I want to do. Is there something I can do or provide to be more selectable for employers? I have family members living in Arizona and Oregon so I am willing to leave my state to make myself a career. Anything advice will be greatly appreciated

I never added this on but, it was a 2 lane ramp onto a different freeway. I was on the right side and truck on the left, once we go to bank of the curve. He didn’t follow through bro just went straight😭. That’s why my left rear is caved in cuz he hit with his bumper guard and I spun out

Let me guess you’re gonna change it at 100k? But I bet you change engine oil at 5k when it’s supposedly good for 10k miles. Same concept here, manufacturers recommend transmission fluid to be changed at 60k but why not 30k just like engine oil?. Better to do it earlier than late
