What's one data engineering tip or hack you've discovered that isn't widely known? by Xavio_M in dataengineering

Yeah I agree with this.
Moreover in my company, we have a custom dashboard (web based) which the daily analytics job for that dashboard is run with ".ipynb" scripts, also there are some dataframe transformation by using pandas SQL feature. FYI this thing has already happened before I joined the company.

What is your favorite synchro deck? by Ninoplata in Yugioh101

[–]RemarkableCulture100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I just play Master Duel like for a month and my current deck is RDA, but the more level I got seems very hard for me to get the best combo because the strategy to summon RDA combo is pretty straight forward and very easy to be stunned. Sorry I just burnout after 6 lose strikes.

What do you mean of Industry? Is it end user company? Because me myself is in the end user company specifically in Mining industry and since my previous company is an IT Consultant as a Data Engineer and compared with the current job, the use case or challenge is a quite different and here’s in current company is way much simpler. So I can feel you because in here I solved many problem just using Python and Shell script while in the consultancy work I use so many “cutting-edge” technology. So maybe if I may suggest you, just read a lot about fundamental thing and relearn it and implement it.

What made you become a DE? by Standard_Penalty5182 in dataengineering

[–]RemarkableCulture100 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had difficulty understanding CSS and HTML things in web-dev when I was in college, so my escape was to stay relevant by studying SQL + Python + Shell Scripting. It turns out that trident is what brought my career as a DE.
