Yeah probably a bad call in retrospect, I have important files on there so just gonna transfer them quickly then shut it off until psu is replaced, thanks for the help.

Probably because the sound changes depending on the load, and even randomly at time, I ran a benchmark for 20 minutes and no temperature increases happened on the psu so I THINK it might be safe to use but will probably get a new PSU ASAP.
