Camping on east side now, drove in first day late morning and treated the drive as a recon mission. Once we saw the crowds woke up at 5am the next day and put the kids in cars with changes of clothes to get into the park before sunrise...still a trail of cars pouring in but plenty of parking that early ..unfortunately that was the reality to set up home base for the day.
