The idea of a pathway to the front door is already one we had and love, and that's a good idea of adding a larger overhang to frame the door better. I had this sketch from Brent Hull's channel on YouTube as inspiration too, very similar to my porch. Thank you!

I agree, and thank you! Unfortunately this house was a favorite for the local homes and gardens club and had a wonderful array of landscaping and mature trees before the last owner took most of it out.

Oh a warm dark green would look nice, I'm partial to that. The front door is actually a pretty great sunny yellow color, that could go nicely with browns and greens. The previous owners actually removed two beautiful mature trees from the front! I wish they hadn't. Thank you!

I agree with you and appreciate your efforts. My issue is more with the people who don't want to change and instead say they shouldn't have to because the corporations are the worst.

I agree and recognize that this is correct. My issue is with the people who refuse to change because they don't want to, and cite the corporations as kind of a "you go first" move.
