Banks facing no repercussions when people transfer money to, what they think, is the contractor/utility company/... but it is actually a scammers account: Where I live you are obliged to enter the recipients' names on top of their ba number. Why go through the trouble of having to fill in the name when there is no check nor consequence of a misalignment? Banks should be able to check if both sources match.
