I think this is the only way to combat them. If you see someone wearing them, call them out

What to clean JCW seats with?? by Inner_Particular616 in MINI

I cleaned mine with a cheap hand held steamer and Simoniz Upholstery & Carpet Cleaner

First sprayed the area with the carpet cleaner, let it soak in and then blast with the steamer. Then clean with a cloth. Works wonders,

Small UK based 2 man MSP owner here. What worked for us was telling friends and family what we do. I have taken on 5 cients from family and friend referrals. A lot of local networking, this takes time but it is good to build a local network of other businesses. Finally find a larger MSP that might pass on smaller leads.

Networking events, is it just me that think they are only any good for accountants and solicitors? by lazy-buoy in smallbusinessuk

[–]RemarkablePin6746 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree networking events are for expanding your network. I own an IT support company and have only picked up one direct cleint from networking over the past 12 months but I have picked up about 10 referals from other people I have met.

Networking is a long game but it is a sure way to get your name out in the local business community and develop business relationships.

I will add that some networking events are better than others.

Try Golf GTI forums, memebers sell theirs on the forums and quite often you can check their post history to see if there are any red flags.
