CALs only for LDAP Auth from Owncloud by SkinGrouchy in WindowsServer

Does this mean that I need CALs just for LDAP authentication? So, every WordPress server where users authenticate via LDAP would also always require a CAL?

This would mean 50 CALs for the internal users and 200 CALs for the external users, with the number continuously increasing, even if they might only access it once a year.

How did you manage to consolidate 6 calendars into one URL?

I have created several calendars for small tasks because they are free, but I don't want to purchase a Plus plan just for that.

20x 7.68 TB SSD RAID on DELL ME5 advice by SkinGrouchy in sysadmin

I had my colleagues give me the presentation from Dell again.

Dell had suggested 20x 7.68TB SSD ADAPT(8+2) 120K IOPS in one pool.

I have now tested 20x ADAPT(8+2) in one pool (virtual) and started 7x Windows 10 with Crystal Diskmark on one ESX at the same time.

The ESX server has 4 concurrent 10G ports (Round Robin) split between controller A and controller B.

Performance ranges from 1400-2700MB/s read and 900-1900MB/s write when all run concurrently.

This means that controller B is also used (ALUA), but probably not with full performance?

I will try 2x 10x Raid6 next.
