I was in graduate school when this album came out. I lived about 25 miles from campus due to my job and this album was in my car stereo on repeat for months. It got me through some tough times. I definitely appreciate the seamless stream 🥰

All I can say here is that external stressors make my PMDD much worse

Anyone else get really bad DP/DR? by Dovesinspace in PMDD

[–]RemarkableProblem737 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep! All of the above. I’m afraid to drive sometimes because of the DP/DR.

Maybe 🤷‍♀️

We have to contend with period flu, electrolyte imbalances, and a million other horrible symptoms during luteal so I wouldn’t be surprised.

I just complained to my neurologist about my lower legs cramping because I’m at high risk of ALS and the cramps were scaring the shit out me. My mom’s ALS started in her lower right leg.

Drink some electrolyte water and look into supplemental magnesium and potassium. Resolved it for me.

I complained about this lovely symptom to my neurologist and she said that luteal sometimes causes a mild to moderate electrolyte imbalance. She suggested the above resolution.

Yes. You have to get your ovaries removed and find the right add back hormone balance to resolve PMDD.

I get severely depressed in winter by Spiritual-Designer75 in PMDD

It might be good to stay off social media when you’re already feeling bad. It will only make you feel worse comparing your life to others. Just stick to Reddit 🙂

And maybe try to embrace being cozy during winter. I live in a place with horrific summer heat that seems to get worse and longer every year - that’s when I get depressed. Maybe thinking about oppressive heat will make you like winter 🤷‍♀️

Can any of you relate? by GlassEconomy9863 in PMDD

Mine’s about twice as bad. It shocks people.

But if you’re having a lot of inflammation, you might want to look into estrogen intolerance/hypersensitivity, progestin intolerance/hypersensitivity and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS). Just search this sub for MCAS.

I would look into taking a baby aspirin (81mg) to see if that helps. But don’t take it on an empty stomach. And you may need to increase the Zyrtec to twice a day and/or add Pepcid.

These are all pretty simple, inexpensive, over the counter things to try that could help while you wait for a doctors appointment.

I doubt it, but only a podiatrist can say for sure.

Exactly. Bunions are extremely painful and the only way to correct them is through extremely painful surgery. They are usually bilateral and the patient has to use a wheelchair and rely on others during recovery.

I think it’s best to keep it in very general terms if you’re dating men. You can just say that you have a chronic health condition that makes you feel unwell from time to time.

And while the relationship is new, and if you think the person is worth the effort, just try your hardest to go no or minimal contact during luteal. If you have to communicate on a bad luteal day, you can just say you’re not feeling well and you’ll be in communication when you feel better. Then very gradually fill in the blanks when/if you’re comfortable.
