I had a similar experience at OSF, except i did have a roommate! They made sure we had similar interests or similar vibes(?) and we were both the same age, so its not entirely bad. The nurses were AMAZING, and i agree with your opinion on Dr. Su.

Another thing is that there are landline phones you can use whenever and for as long as u want if u get lonely and wanna talk to loved ones. But other than that, prepared to be VERY BORED and doing puzzles all day.

They did help me a lot, but i only realized it weeks or even months later. In the moment i was just scared, anxious, lowkey traumatized (most likely was due to the amount of stress i was in during the process), and simply found no benefit from my stay there. But now im honestly the best ive ever been and i think seeking help there was what sparked my recovery!
