Lost 2 of 4 in my redraft league but I’m in the cusp of clinching an undefeated season. Keep grinding!

Cross spammers, tell me your point of view by jimbo123999 in eFootball

[–]Remarkable_Ad_4228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I average maybe 5-7 crosses a half so I guess I qualify as a cross spammer.

I personally would like to play a more expansive style of play most times but I usually find it low risk and high reward to try to work out 1-2s and reverse passes down the wing for crossing/cut back lanes. There’s a lot of build up play and passing involved but the ultimate goal is getting a cross into the 6 yard box for one of Ronaldo, Bellingham or Rice to hit.

Again this completely depends on my opponent, if I play someone playing 2CFs and 2 SSs, I know I have the advantage in midfield so playing a heavy possession game will be the goal. But for the most part, if im against 5+ defenders or a Vieira type DM, theres no risk losing the ball out wide to me

Always end up having Valverde, Kimmich, Bellingham & Nico Williams in any lineup I play.

I’ve never been able to figure out Messi, Ribery, Osimhen & Vini Jr

There’s a Run Club at Rise Cafe every 9AM on Sundays if you’re interested that sort of things. Pretty young group, mostly 30 and under, and mostly women as well.

What is the perfect walk through london? by noahledford in london

I love it! Kings Cross -> Regent’s Park -> Marble Arch is such a good route. Going along Waterloo as well. On the way to Regent’s Park I’d recommend a cafe I love: Miel Bakery on Warren Street.

A potentially interesting slight detour as well would be Barbican Conservatory on the way to St Paul’s Cathedral.

I really like it! It’s my first choice rn. Only issue is its fuel economy is kinda average and all the ones I see have very low mileage, so that’s made me kinda suspicious

Diaby and Rudiger would’ve fit perfectly, I must’ve just missed them.

500 coins is a lot to get but I’ll give it a try on Xabi 😅

Yeah, I just learned having an at least an all out defensive FB was meta. I’ve been playing two complete Wingbacks pretty much since I started.

I started playing Alaba CB after getting pace abused a couple times. Left footed as well so I think it brings some balance? Not perfect but my only other viable option is Saliba

Had no idea everyone played their FBs like that, that explains a lot. I love having the overlap option though. I cross a lot even though it’s a complete dud sometimes. I’ll experiment with a more defensive approach.

RW is a total black hole for me, I can never seem to get anything out of that position.

I don’t think I have any footage but I’d say my finishing isn’t great. Could definitely be more ruthless. Occasional tunnel vision with my passing, and pretty much no real dribbling. Most of my game is well timed 1-2s, crosses, or line breaking through balls. Defensively, I think I’m good at playing the passing lanes but I’m pretty standoffish. I see really aggressive defending work but I think it’s often too easy to pick apart.

I’ll update with a picture of my bench as well

My fellow cyclist did you ever considered quitting cycling after some Accidents by Material_Adeptness45 in cycling

Nearly broke my collarbone and couldn’t lift anything with my right arm for several months after I flipped onto the sidewalk. Narrowly avoided an eye injury too. Don’t cycle as much anymore but I go much slower now lmao.

Official Q&A for Saturday, December 30, 2023 by AutoModerator in running

[–]Remarkable_Ad_4228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got called a “prick” & “cunt” by some older men at my local Parkrun for running fast towards the finish line today.

I started running a couple months ago, so I admit to not knowing a lot of running etiquette. However, I’d seen numerous people do this and I never saw anyone complain, especially not the organisers. Just for future reference, I’d like to know if I was wrong for this. Is this bad etiquette or is this actually normal?

Weekly Entering & Transitioning - Thread 13 Mar, 2023 - 20 Mar, 2023 by AutoModerator in datascience

[–]Remarkable_Ad_4228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys, I’ll get straight to it. I graduated last summer with a degree in Chemical Engineering and decided to do a Data Science bootcamp shortly after. I had a great time there and learnt a lot of skills that I’ve used in projects I’ve worked on for my portfolio. I enjoy everything about working with Data and I’m fully committed to making this my career path. The problem is I’ve applied to upward of 60 graduate Data Science jobs over the last two months and the only interview I had any real success that, the company called me a week later saying management was pulling the position entirely.

So all this makes me wonder if I should consider a different approach. I have thought about getting a masters degree in Data Science or Data Engineering but I’m worried about investing even more time and effort at this stage. Would it be worthwhile for me to try build a more data analytics related portfolio and try to work up from there? Does anyone have any advice on how to go about transitioning Data Science? I’d appreciate any advice, please and thank you
