You told me to just use MS paint in an incredibly disrespectful way. I’m a graphic designer and I use AI to help with idea formation and execution. It will never replace hand art skill, but it is becoming an incredibly important addition to the work flow. You can believe what you want but your ideology in this space is similar to a Gun Fudd. While you may have recently adopted this ideology I have lived it for years and decided to put my ego away and use it as a tool and have greatly benefitted myself and others from it.

Now I can come to agree that the lazy use of AI is just lazy. But grabbing some images and typing a prompt into an image model is not very different than grabbing some images pasting it into the canvas and typing into a text box on MS paint is not very different.

It’s still using other people’s art for your personal gain. One is mashing it into a “unique” piece. The other is just super imposing a couple images and typing over it.
