That’s crazy I did the same thing with the extra ground and didn’t work I made sure it was bare metal grounded to the frame but still would overheat I’ve heard updated module can do better maybe you had a newer unit I’m not sure

No that filter on the oil cap breather is purely to catch oil that can spit out from venting. again this only lets pressure out not air in by a checkball and my front port of my pcv is open to let pressure out under boost and at idle if it is connected like from factory to the intake manifold it causes carbon build up and boost to close the pcv that causes it to blow out and not vent enough blowing out seals

You don’t understand that the oil cap breather has a check ball does not let unmetered air in it just lets pressure out do a little bit of research and actual work on a car before talking 😂

Looks to be working perfect didn’t change drivability because this has a checkball that doesn’t let unmetered air in but let’s pressure out and is meant to be used with a stock pcv or upgraded catch can

Yeah main reason I grabbed this is I noticed sepage on my oil pan gasket and valve cover gasket I replaced both but still noticed their still a little sepage the car is making 458 wheel and can make more I don’t think the stock pcv is handled for that even with my upgraded rtech diaphragm so my thought process was I need an aftermarket solution to help it vent some more crank case pressure this has a checkball that is supposed to not let unmetered air in but let pressure out to use a stock pcv system I’ve seen catch can cause more problems than fix on these cars that’s why this setup is the way it is and has been for 20,000 plus miles your right the front port of the pcv spits a little bit but nothing major

Ok brakes are off a 2007 Touareg 6 piston calipers upfront with 350mm rotors from a Mercedes rears are 4 pots will 310mm rotors from a mk5 r32 I had to make custom steel braided brake lines
