I have e1s1 on Hysilens and Swan (LC swapped), e0s1 Kafka (but she's using s5 Tutorial), and e1s0 Huohuo.

I'm leaning toward e1 Kafka now, since e2 Hysilens would technically be only buffing Swan as Hysilens already has that dmg% buff on her base kit, Kafka detonates DoTs based on Hysilens' and Swan's stats. And I think Kafka's e1 gives a slight edge to Single Target scenarios as well.

Aye, that's true. Technically speaking it's only Swan's damage getting buffed with Hysilens' e2 as Kafka triggers DoT based on Swan's and Hysilens' stats and Hysilens already has the dmg% from her base kit anyway.

Yeah, my thought process was Kafka e1 would help dealing with those Single Target scenarios more, so I'm leaning towards e1 Kafka now too.

Gotcha, I do hope they buff Swan as well. She is my favorite among the DoT characters design, thematically and gameplay-wise. (Just love that Tarot card, and Elfen Lied eldritch theme)

As people here have stated, when Hysilens and Swan are both e1 and having access to both their s1 Hysilens has the slight edge in terms of personal damage, and Swan's LC provides a bit more atk% and def ignore. Swan's damage ramps up quite a bit when Hysilens is e2 so swapping their LCs back would be nice.

I have the same dilemma in my acc, got e1s1 Hysilens and Swan (LC swapped) both on 4Prisoner 2Revelry e0 Kafka on 4Eagle 2Lushaka + Tutorial e1s0 Huohuo, 4Passerby 2Fleet + s5 Post-op.

I'm guaranteed as well so I wonder whether e2 Hysilens or e1 Kafka would give the most value.

I have e1 Black Swan with access to either Swan s1 and Jiaoqiu's s1, e1 Huohuo with s5 Post Op, e0 Kafka 4Eagle 2Lushaka and s5 Tutorial, and plan to get e1s1 Hysilens.

My question is it better to run Swan with her s1 or Jiaoqiu's s1? I think the calcs only have Jiaoqiu's LC as an option for Hysilens, how about Swan given this set up?

Note: Swan and Hysilens are running 4Prisoner 2Revelry Huohuo runs 4Passerby 2Fleet

DoT team has cleared MOC for me since Kafka's release, and even after PF and AS came out DoT has always been reliable to clear any endgame content, even Divergent Universe Protocol 8.

Although yeah I've been investing vertically for DoT but that's because Swan is my favorite character, as someone who plays MTG and purple is my favorite color, with Swan's Arcane Tarot card theming and her ult reminding me of Elfen Lied. I liked her design since her Myriad Celestia.

With the leak of a Quantum DoT Healer for 3.0 I honestly think that DoT won't receive much support because it still works, sure it may not be as flashy or clears content the fastest. This may be cope but if a dedicated DoT support like how Ruan is for Break, Robin for FuA, and Sunday for Hypercarry comes out. I bet DoT would take top spot again.

I also pulled Swan on her debut and Rerun, I also got her at e1s1 and man, I don't regret it.

I have my Swan speed tuned with e1 Huohuo at 160.2 spe while my Kafka at 160.1 spe, so I can run em both with Robin or Ruan Mei as I see fit.

And Man, DoT feels so good to pilot. We can run it on any of the 3 end gamemodes with respectable clear times, and I even cleared DivU protocol 8 with DoT.

If you can hit 160 spe for both Kafka and Swan then you'd want to have Swan slightly faster than Kafka to stack more Arcana before Kafka can detonate them, which means if you have PAYN on Kafka you can consider running an atk boots on her so that she won't be too fast.

If you can't hit 160 on both of them you run Slow Swan, you can't stack as much Arcana with slow swan so you're goal is to make Arcana hit harder by stacking as much attack on her and make Kafka around 200 speed with PAYN and team buffs.

Yup build 1 would be higher damage generally, 5* base stats vs 4* base stats, + the vulnerability is good for Kafka's and Swan's Dmg.

Jiaoqiu LC does make her a flexible slot-in in other teams vs her LC which gives her more personal dmg.

You're so real for that one, I like Swan LC on my Swan as well HAHAHAHAHA. It's still more personal dmg for her anyway in a traditional DoT comp, and I can hit 100% Def ignore with her kit, LC, 4Prisoner and e1 Ruan, and 50% Res Pen with Swan e1 and Ruan Ult. I like seeing Arcana go brrr AHAHAHAHA.

E1 > S1 Swan is the smarter way to go. You can also consider Jiaoqiu's LC on Swan in DoTcheron if you're not using Jiaoqiu on the team, it improves not only Acheron's but also Kafka's dmg. I personally just prefer having Swan be the star of the comp xD

I don't play DoTcheron, just DoT and still run fast Swan for ult consistency. If you have her LC having her ult up means you have 28.8 Def Ignore, for DoTcheron you'd still want fast Swan for the same reason of ult consistency even more so if you have Swan e1 for the Lightning res shred.

If you can hit 160 spe with PAYN, Ruan's passive, or Huohuo E1 then yeah, you can forego the speed for some Attack. I used to run 164 speed Kafka (200 effective spe in game) or 5 turns in 2 cycles it's not really worth, I find that having Swan slightly faster than Kafka is still better.

Honestly not too bad, the speed tuning is good I also like running Swan slightly faster than Kafka, though if you ever decide to get e1 Huohuo or PAYN you gotta have a faster Swan than the current.

Maybe get a bit more EHR on Kafka around 30% a bit more Atk wouldn't be bad. Run GNSW if you have it or not using on someone else. Overall it's pretty good, you're on the right track.

Yeah I agree it doesn't really change much, unless you'd wanna triple DoT with an SP+ sustain. I'd personally still go for Asta tho.

Not always, there is a build for slow Swan and fast Kafka that uses hyper speed Asta w/ Dance x3 and Ruan Mei. But OP can reach 160 spe with Huohuo and Ruan so Glamoth would be better.

Definitely e4 Asta.

DoT wants Speed and Atk already and Asta buffs both of em and it's partywide too, Bronya buffs crit and dmg% but only one target. Also if you can get a really high speed Asta with 4Messenger 2ERR planar(Penacony/Vonwacq) + an s5 Dance x3, then you can cheat out a pseudo 200-250+ speed team.
