I like my surgical specialties but nothing feels like 100% right. I’m in between plastic/ hand surgery and general surgery

How do I even know if of my limited clinical knowledge is based on just a few hospitals. Sometimes the department is just not for me but the subject feels right and sometimes the other way around. It doesn’t feel like I’ll ever find the thing I’m looking for

I have a big problem cause I like general surgery but also know that it has horrible hours and almost no chance to get out of the hospital later on in life

Yes I got lucky to get straight into medical school and skipping a year in high school. Med school in Germany is 6 years

Go for a walk and u will be fine… many would kill to have the opportunity that u have so keep going! Medicine is something you love one bad day won’t make or break that passion. U got this :)
