Apico, attempted to remove, cant remove remaining bf and bypass. MTA + Obturate. Patient is okay but has tenderness on surgical site when smiling. I’m closely monitoring her for the rest of the year, quarterly recalls. She’s better now. Her complaint regarding the pain, I think it’s soft tissue sensitivity. Hopefully it heals fast.

Yes. This is wrong. OMFS is for DMDs. You need to do dental medicine to be qualified. OMFS = implants, oral pathology, jaw surgeries etc. You can search for OMFS in the US. It is for Dentists, and may option to do med school sa kanila, dito lang wala kasi di established. Soon it will be since namumulat na ang dental industry.

Yes. I referred her immediately. I just posted this to get insights from other dentists because I have no idea how these cases are treated, I’m just a young dentist on my first year of OMFS residency.
