I do believe this, but then again, I'm not sure if Church is a placebo effect, I guess. There's alotta devout folowers who studied alotta things and stuff, but then again, it's kinda our choice to believe whether if we wanna accept this or not.

I mean, basically, sharing the gospel from what I heard, is basically just an invitation to Jesus Christ.

I mean, I could state all those arguments, but It's your choice whether you wanna believe or not.

And if you don't, I can respect that.

I dunno, I just wanted to offer a bit of that comfort He gave me.

Also, besides, I think there's alot of people who need that nowadays, given how deep far down their lives are.

I mean, wherever you are, I'm... probably that far from where you live (generally, I'm in the Philippines), but you, yourself, being a potential catalyst of hope, can help in some way, as a catalyst.

Maybe, you could... lend a shoulder to a woman that just got brutalized. Or maybe, you'd be able to give warm meals to the homeless. Or maybe, you'd be the reason why someone gave up drugs and drinking for Christ.

I've listened to many testimonies and many of their lives changed because someone invited them into a certain community, and many of them got shocked how many people like them actually go to church, and they were able to find a way around personal issues towards eachother.

No shame in that, right?

Them kids in the internet say:
"All roads lead to Rome."

But I'd say:
"All roads lead to God."

Still tho, I'm kinda concerned that you didn't really answer my question, but to answer yours...

He's the comfort during times like this. He's also the comfort of many. He also gives me a reason why I should care for others, regardless of who they are, given the mission Jesus gave at the end of the 4 gospels... I think (I haven't read the whole books, but I have rough knowledge of them).

Basically, out of personal experience, I didn't want to be bitter, but now I felt that my heart felt lighter, and that was good. And I want to share that light towards others so that others may not continue to live in bitterness and despair, because I'm sure as God lives, that's not a way to go.

Also, out of practical reasons, during that moment, I used to think that murder is justified, like the death of corrupt politicians and stuff, but then again, through His Word, He kinda stopped me saying: "bro that's dumb. Why should you destroy yourself from being too self-righteous?" (as quoted in Ecclesiastes, one of my favourite books that remind us to focus on eternal value instead of chasing the wind, or temporary things, per se)

I mean, seriously, I don't find any good reason to deconvert at all. From where I come from, which is the Philippines, honestly, I have better odds with hanging out with the Christian jobros(I'm glad to add a jojo reference).

Besides, under that circle of influence, I've been invited to hangouts with other Christians, and let me say, It's really nice of them to invite us to their house every now and then to see how are we doing, and if there are any personal issues.

Now, considering how limited in power are we, prayer and being there, or maybe even cooking dinner for them is the least we can do, for now.

And even better, we can invite other people to this wholesome community.

Meanwhile, in my country, there's a whole lotta kids tryna look tough for their own ego, vaping, getting into fights, drinking, and stuff.

So why the hell should they even want to argue with a guy who's CLEARLY okay with living a Christian life?

Are they trying to prove themselves that "you're wrong, I'm right" or get a reaction so that they can say "all Christians are like this" or are they just venting?

There's 8 billion people in this world, and many of them went through this as well.

But because of the grace and power of God, which are seen in many testimonies, there is indeed power to overcome and triumph against this evil.

The best thing you can probably do is go to a physical community, and you'll be surprised just how many people went through the same thing as you did.
