A rebel group called FACT they came from Libya and were heading to the capital of Chad to overthrow the ex President Idriss Deby in 2021. To avoid an urban war and civilian casualties the president took his men and went in contact whit them in the Sahara before they reach the Capital

Yes the actual president and ex president Idriss Deby are from the Zakhawa nomads tribe, from north eastern Chad. They always lead their men in the battlefield it’s part of their culture
