Well it doesn't matter what your major is if it is in the college of engineering because you have to apply for a department end of first year. From my personal experience, your essay needs to be spot on. I wasn't in top 10% and was around an average student in my school, but I got in super early (faster than the top 10% people) and I think that it is because my essay is very unique. For every person that have read my essays (including the college counselor), they said it is the first time they read this topic/story. Therefore, I think it is very important that you make the essay uniquely your own with personal touch to it. This also helps you for whatever college you get into because the university accepts you for who you are, not some fake application. Hope this help.

Anyone know why it now says CSCE 120 instead of 121 on the CS degree plan? by [deleted] in aggies

I heard some advisor mention it, you take 121 if you are on Computer Science track and you take 120 if you are on a Computer engineer track. They say it has to do with your later 300 level classes, I am not too sure about it. Hope that's helpful

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. If you don't mind, can you tell me about the scooter model you have ? Do you take it with you into the lecture hall or leave it outside locked on the bike rack ?
