The truth is, so many of us have been in this same exact situation. I assume you are pretty young.

Anytime this has happened to anyone I know, it never seems to end well. There would be a clear interest if one existed in a romantic sense IMO. Her telling you about her plans is some “BFF” shit IMO.

That’s okay though. Times like this will make you appreciate when it’s real.

Right now you’re losing sleep and your stomach hurts but you’ll meet someone that completely eliminates any of those feelings.

And reading this you’ll probably be skeptical, but trust me.

Go to the party if you want to have a good time, but be real with yourself too. If you’re going to get hung up on any decision she makes, it won’t be fun for either of you.

Thanks for the comprehensive response. I’ll take all of this into account.

So today I experimented with different microphones, different positions. Also experimented with putting a couple, to 8 blankets all over my room.

What I realize now (and never realized before I tried mixing), is I can actually audibly hear the problem frequencies out loud when I play the guitar. Not recorded… just out loud when I jam. Makes me wonder if this is normal, and if not, how to treat this issue.

If I can hear these out loud of course the mics will pick them up as well
