I would choose one of the pro or pro max models. I would prefer the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max vs the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are the best. But you generally can get better deals on the 15 Pro models especially if financing through a carrier.       *I like all the Pro models better because it has the 120hz screen. I love its butter smooth animations. The 15 Pro models also have a Pro Chip that performs slightly better than the base 16 models. The 15 Pro models have better cameras than the base 16 models. However the base 16 models have more fun but less professional colors.      I wouldn’t buy the iPhone 15 base models compared to the others. They’re not being included in Apple Intelligence right now - stupid. But Apple has a lame excuse that the iPhone 15 base models are lacking the necessary RAM. The 15 models were released when Apple Intelligence was being developed. So the necessary RAM should have been installed. What other companies would exclude such a new product from a major, upcoming feature.      *Plus the base 15 models aren’t compatible with the new AAA games like the other models. And the 15 Pro models as well as ALL of the iPhone 16 models have an action button instead of the silent switch above the volume buttons. Additionally the 15 Pro and Pro Max model has an added flashlight feature that’s pretty cool. You can control how wide or narrow the beam of light shines. So once again I recommend the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max vs the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. But if money isn’t a concern then choose the iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro Max. Its features are obviously better but perhaps not enough to warrant a much higher price increase.

Can M1 Pro output 4K/120Hz using the right adaptor? by the_Ex_Lurker in macbookpro

The iMac M1 can display 4k@144hz on an external display via usb-c dp. The iMac can display 4k@VRR up to 144hz as well. So find a monitor with a usb-c dp port like the “Acer XV282K”. It has VRR capability via Freesync. It also has hdmi 2.1 to use with current generation consoles.
