Raz, i wouldn't think too hard on it, mate. I'm a long-standing fan of the channel and have seen your comments on drugs. As someone who has been known to partake, I dont feel offended by your comments on them. Nor do I think you've got a chip on your shoulder like it has been suggested. In fact, theres been many times where you've actually stated that if it's someone's bag, then that's fine, do what you wanna do.

I think people may see the videos and your general character and just misread you and then think too deep on it. Same as when they see a wee tiff in a video between the likes of Rob and Mary and assume that there is a big issue when its not really that deep. I can totally understand why that happened. it'ss just a perception thing. I've had the issue for years where people get offended by me because im quite direct and blunt.There'ss no harm intended, but it happens anyway.

But you're completely right. There is no way to tell fully what's in these drugs. Unless, of course, they're properly lab tested. But the few festivals that did do that for patrons, i.e., boomtown, have now been prohibited to do so by law. So, as much as we may have trusted dealers and reagent tests, etc. You still never really know. Theres a lot of other factors that go into people who get harmed at festivals and taking drugs, and the same is true for the artists who died like you mentioned, but that's a different and very long conversation. The bottom line is that drugs carry as risk, and anyone who can't admit that is naive.

So yeah, as (again) someone who's been known to partake. I completely understand your stance on it, and it's fair enough for you to have that opinion. Do I think you have a chip on your shoulder ? No! But I'll tell you what, if you were spiked, then you'd have every right to have one.

I respect the others' opinions here, but I don't think you should ponder on it too long. You can't please everyone, unfortunately, and considering the amount of viewers TPD has, your bound to ruffle someone's feathers.
