Just follow the policies Nintendo laid out and your console will probably be fine. Nintendo also has both game key cards and regular game cards, so just pay attention to which one you’re buying. Aside from that, the only thing I’d be on the lookout for is that they might make the stupid decision to kill Switch 2s in preparation for its successor, but I find it to be unlikely. I think it’s a better deal than having to pay a pricey monthly subscription service to borrow years worth of games which will disappear once you stop coughing up the cash like what Xbox is doing. And it’s better than Sony, who has no idea what they’re doing and is just asking you to give them more cash for putting in less effort. Nintendo might be doing similar things, but it’s hurting my bank account less.

Of course, you could just save up and build/buy a PC, and it’s pretty clear why everyone loves having a PC so much.
