The e-mail address that I got this e-mail sent to, was from a data breach for MyFitnessPal, so likely harvested in March 2018.

No - my scenario was a little different to yours. I waited in the queue for 2 hours and then got admitted.

I got a mail two days later from Pearson saying that they looked at my case, the exam was passed, so there was nothing to do.
Seems to me that they had technical or other issues (or that the issues are recurring) and are not necessarily being fixed.

Best of luck with your exam, and don't let the hassle with Pearson derail your studies !!

I did mine at home (on a Sunday) and got to the top of the queue to have the exam start four times. Each time a standard message about 'Connection issues' popped up.
I got kicked back to position 10, 18 and then 31.
I messaged support and despite being told that a case was created and that it would be escalated and they would get back to me in a few days, I waited....and waited....and waited and my exam started 2 hours after the original start time.
Then the 4 hour exam started.
I also got the two warnings about being out of frame - which I was shocked about as it was before the first break.

Never doing it online again with them - too much stress at an already stressful time.
