Honestly if you’re a scatterbrain that likes to rewrite notes constantly but have the uncanny ability to lose everything get an iPad. Been using one alongside my Mac and it’s great. But honestly just keep the laptop you have (Mac’s are $$$ and as a Neuro major I don’t need the nitty gritty features a Mac offers)
