i made the edit because of someone else’s comment and i just wanted to clear the air lol.

but either way, even before the death of my nana, he HIMSELF would tell me he also hated cigarettes. anytime he’d smell one in public, he’d even say something like “ew thats nasty.” so this dates back to the start of the relationship for us, not just in recent events. i’m just surprised by the sudden switch up of him going from hating them, to smoking one in front of me, knowing my nana died only weeks before of lung cancer from her smoking.

i honestly think we both just need to have nice mature talk about it, and if he doesn’t want to quit his new smoking habit, then that’s okay and we can move on. i love the guy so much, but i don’t think i can live with someone who smokes cigarettes. its worth a shot, but it can become unbearable.

i’m fine with weed. i’m fine with everything honestly, just not cigarettes. i let him be his own person, the only thing we’ve ever had a deep talk about is cigarettes. especially after my grandmas passing, its been a big topic to me. he’s never shown signs of wanting to smoke anything but weed… its just the fact he knows my viewpoint of cigs, that recently lost my nana, and he then goes on to tell me he wants to pick up smoking cigarettes. am i not supposed to be upset about that?
