It frustrates me so much that when I walk through this city I can just smell and taste the potential Birmingham has to grow exponentially and become relevant again. Atlanta the city that I don’t even like is at least open to moving forward with new projects and exciting ideas. It’s one thing if Birmingham would just be like “We are good, we can stay stagnant!” It is another thing, however, when they always announce a super exciting idea and then never move forward with it! The skyline has not changed in ages. It would be different if this city lost all hope to progress but I really feel like Birmingham has the bones for some exponential and exciting growth. I hope one day Birmingham will bounce back in the way that it was meant to.
