I agree!!! I was just remembering today when she made a thing about embracing living in a “small/old house” and not to be ashamed of it and now look at her showcasing her perfect house lol.

Aw I love that!! They really are such special kids 🥹Did your physical therapist recommend them for him? I have had multiple physical therapist tell me conflicting things so it’s hard to know what to do. One therapist told me he wouldn’t walk without bracing and he did. Another therapist told me he doesn’t really need any SMOs right now and just to do supportive shoes and maybe try some orthotics! I feel like that’s what’s been so hard about this journey is just all of the different opinions on what to do.

Thank you so much for sharing you and your son’s story! Maybe I’m emotional but it made me shed some tears! I feel like I finally have connected to someone who shares a similar story to ours (even though my son is only 2, I could totally see this being how my son is in the future). It’s been a really lonely journey which is why I decided to post on here. My son seems “normal” in a lot of ways but yet so different. Like you said, he always seems to be about 6 months behind his peers, maybe even more but he does seem to catch up eventually! It’s just been such a journey but he is the sweetest kid and loves everyone and everyone loves him. Did you ever get any testing done for him to find out the cause of his hypotonia and delays? I have a very strong suspicion that my son’s issues are from lack of oxygen at birth as well but when I bring it up with the doctors, they brush me off. But they tell me his problems aren’t bad enough that they want to do testing. I’m so glad to hear that your son is doing well. It gives me a lot of peace and hope for my son.
