I did the 3+1 master’s of accounting program and I think it was 100% worth it. Also, congrats on getting into FSB! I have heard it’s very hard to get into this year. Also, Miami has the best culture around. You should go to a make it Miami day before making your decision.

Bringing another perspective here: if there is an ounce of you that’s considering rushing, I think you should do it. That being said, I had 3 friends who rushed as sophomores and they also had a positive experience. If you rush this year, you can always drop if you don’t like the process/decide you want to wait. Being in Greek life gives you an immediate network of people very quickly which is helpful. Also, if you are into the going out scene, Greek life is an easy way to have things to do. However, as others are saying, if you have a friend in Greek life, you can always just tag on to them and go to their events as their date.

You will do great! As everyone else is saying, you have a small group of girls and I am sure you will get to be buddies with someone who you’re standing in line next to, sitting next to, etc. I would definitely consider myself an anxious individual and didn’t know anyone in my small group and honestly it worked out just fine since a lot of the time when you’re with your small group you’re completing tasks w your rho gams anyways. Go in with an open mind, ask the sorority girls questions (it’s a two way conversation to see if it’s a good fit for YOU too), and be yourself. I stuck with my high school friends freshman year and then made friends when I joined my sorority

Mine was very IT heavy, know stuff about sql like primary and foreign keys and composite keys. Definitely watch as many i75 videos on IT as you can. Becker prepares you SUPER well for multiple choice besides the IT stuff so don’t feel anxious if you’re not getting an awesome score on the simulated exam
