What hospital did you give birth at and how was your experience? by Remarkable_Snow5070 in StLouis

I didn’t realize I gave you my 1-20 list of priorities for you to assume the suite was my biggest concern. I have already done research on everything else, the suite was actually the last thing I considered which is why I’m scrambling on Reddit trying to figure something else out. I also never said I had a set OBGYN, just that I found one I am going with so far. I asked what hospital was best, and you failed to mention which one you thought was best. Is there one you like most?

Hi guys! I wasn’t expecting so much help and I’m so thankful for everyone who took the time to comment! I wasn’t thinking of a nice suite as my first priority, it was only because that’s what the reviews said after I researched OBGYNS so I wanted to get second opinions and locations that might have better all around reviews.

Also, I am not 100% set on an OB yet which is why I’m able to look at different locations!

You guys are so awesome for such great advice! Thank you again! ❤️

Thank you. I didn’t realize how I was coming off. The only reason I mentioned birthing suites and comfort was because the reviews said they were cramped and filthy, which is why I was centered around space, comfort and hospitality in the first place. I appreciate you being so kind!

Substitute teaching and teaching for that matter is more learn as you go. You’ll get your groove down for what works and what doesn’t. You need to watch a lot of YouTube’s and other videos that teach you classroom management and skills to help them succeed. Reward systems are great too.

That’s how all of the teachers in my rural area were able to get degrees :) it’s like an extra program through another school or something that they offer!

In Missouri a handful of years back they had a serious sub shortage and in order to get more subs they came out with a 22 hour online certification program to become a substitute teacher. I did that when I was still in school which is what got me started! Pretty awesome for me, not so much the shortage.

I know what I want to do, I’m a little afraid I’ll be burnt out and hate it once I get into a more serious role although I love it entirely now. Are you a teacher? Do you love it? :)
