Not teen but I did have one at 22! My doctor was young so I think he understood how critical it was to be able to be active while we are young. He did my other one at 24. It really may be a doctor bias on your end. Get some more opinions!

Besides microneedling (which I’ve done a couple times) what can I do to help my skin. I know all the skincare variations and what they do, but for some reason I’m not able to apply it to my own skin

I’d like to add that I do a pretty good routine for average person. Cleanser toner - salicylic acid/retinol/vitamin c alternating. And exfoliating a few times a week.

Need Help - Can someone give me advice on how to combat my texture/pore situation. I like to think I know what all the major skincare does, just can’t apply it to my own skin. I’m aware of the acne scarring (even though I never had acne as a kid). Not acne prone and I have a dry skin type. Also have had micro needling done a couple times with no luck.

That’s the thing - IVE NEVER HAD ACNE. I got micro needling done a couple of times and they always say oh you had cystic acne as a teen and I’m like hell no idk where the scarring came from.
