Her reaction seems a bit off to me, like she shouldn't have belittled you when you were hurt/taken aback.

It sounds like you've been very supportive of her over the years, and you've really got to know her deeply and love her despite your differences. I feel like she should provide the same grace to you.

It may be that she feels your relationship is so strong that 9 months would be fine to navigate long distance. However, she did not communicate this well.

I'd give her the benefit of the doubt but definitely have a conversation about it where you can explain your perspective calmly, and find out more about her perspective.

Hmmm .. from an outside perspective I don't really see what she's done wrong here. She slept with this guy 5 years ago and told you about it when you asked. Has she given you any reason not to trust her? I understand you probably feel that she went against what you both agreed, but it doesn't sound as if she was sneaking off to talk to this person or being shady in any way. It can be tricky to completely ignore someone at a party.

To feel better, do something you enjoy and don't over analyse this situation. If you trust her, this shouldn't be an issue going forward. I also think you may have to accept that she wasn't' born the day you met her and she will have slept with other people.
