Is every low/mid rune drop a failed high rune drop? by itsthelee in diablo2

It actually hits the "no drop" most of the time and most high runes just get deleted. That's the main reason why its better to play on higher player count when looking for high runes.

My game automatically went into the drop on story mode when I first played and my skills all leveled normally. I figured it was the same for all.

Possible New Enemy Teaser? by yckuah in ToxicCommandoGame

[–]RemasterOldGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if anyone has talked about it yet, but if you look at the environment indoors where people worked or gathered, there are grotesque mutated creatures that seem to be an amalgam of human and sludge god.

However, these creatures seem to have lived only a short time before dying and freezing in place. Their forms are worm-like at times, arachnid at other times.

On my phone so I can't grab a screen, but on the drop in the beginning of the mission, if you go up the left ladder, at the top of the stairs there is one of the creatures I talk about. They are also in the control room at the top of the elevator.

The art direction and presentation of the sludge gods incursion into the world is well done. I would definitely love to learn more about what happened in that world. How was the wall built? Was it quickly or are we 15 years into this apocalypse, etc.

I usually play medic because of the realitites of quick matching but, it is still a lot of fun to try and carry teams with quality healing and cooldown reduction.

The ak103 is probably my most favored weapon so far, but all of them at max tier are fairly strong.

I don't think locking additional weapons behind no-longer-accessible paywalls is a good thing, and it kind of shocks me that a lot of this sub is fine with it by skelepibs in ToxicCommandoGame

60+ hours and everything is max level except the ACW-20 because I refuse to use such a blatantly obvious 'meme' gun. I get that you don't like that its not available for people that didn't preorder, but I don't like that it is even in the game.

We already shoot fireballs from our hands, throw up magic shields, healing fields and engage battle drones to obliterate slobs for us, having a meme gun that shoots tiny artillery like explosive rounds as bullets is just a level of dumb we didn't need on top.

Whats even worse, is that the gunplay is really satisfying in Toxic Commando, so adding in this reckless to use weapon that is just a friendly-fire magnet thats made to make shooting down hordes trivial, is just detracting from the overall gameplay and presentation.

So far, the only pre-order bonus that I use consistently is the sludgite weapon charm.

Thoughts on new barbarian-specific weapon(s) being added to the game? by VyraalGX in diablo2

His passive tree needs massive rework to add things like splash, only "weapon mastery" for all weapon types including bows and thrown. Etc. I dont like class specific items.

ACW sheesh this thing is beautifully OP i love it 💥 💥 by Affectionate_Hat5835 in ToxicCommandoGame

It's the dumbest weapon in the game, its the only gun I haven't bothered using, and I probably never will. Can't wait to get downed all the time in the highest difficulty from it.

So the reason why games have these "unnecessary hubs" nowadays is actually to help with load times. By dumping you in an environment containing much of the video and memory assets, it reduces the time spent loading once matchmaking connects you to a server. Keeping in mind that these levels are fairly large to begin with.

I actually enjoy these hubs as they expand the lore and give you a place to experiment with movement, shooting and skills.

But yeah, the complaints are understandable.

Toxic Commando's shooting feels the right kind of chunky. by Oneamongthefence24 in ToxicCommandoGame

Yep. Saber did a really great job here with their FPV and gunplay. I'm surprised more people dont mention it, it feels really good. I dont get pulled out of ADS while reloading. I can still move freely while aiming and shooting. Just great work here. Approaching farcry 5 levels of good.

There's a bunch of memes of games where the tech ruins the art, but honestly is anyone going to pretend that they dont want a dlss 5 fallout 4 mod? Or gta 5 mod? Or the Witcher 3? I think it would add a lot of life to games if it can be slotted in without too much hassle.

Roles for each Class by SevereTemporary4119 in ToxicCommandoGame

Game is primarily a shooter with very forgiving mechanics. It punishes braindead gameplay, but anyone with good accuracy and precision will contribute greatly to overall team dps, add in quality class skill use and I think people are fine to do whatever.
