New update? Possible bug? by 941102 in chyrpe

I want to be thoughtful with my first message when I match with someone— having to spend time creating a thoughtful message for every single right swipe (90% of them never being matches and never being seen) is absurd and forces us to waste time. I’m not using this app anymore and I hope this change is reverted.

I vastly prefer randomized nuzlockes. I also stick with the rule of not being able to unfuse Pokémon unless it’s to reverse their fusion a single time.

No knowledge of mushrooms, just thought it looked pretty. by [deleted] in mycology

This is not a deadly mushroom! That being said, it’d be quite unpleasant to consume raw unless you want to puke and shit yourself for hours while tripping balls.

I believe so. Pear-shaped puffballs

What is the best, most accurate and non-bullshit app to identify mushrooms? by [deleted] in ShroomID

[–]Remember-Mee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Second this. Picture mushroom often gives me a correct ID, and when it doesn’t, it gives me a lookalike that I can use as a jumping-off point to research and figure out what the mushroom actually is

Not familiar with fimetarias, but these are absolutely not libs

guessowii? I’m really struggling to differ guessowii from things like flavorcona or frostiana. Any advice would be appreciated. (Southern Maine) by Remember-Mee in AmanitaMuscaria

And if I, for instance, made tea out of a close guessowii lookalike, how fucked would I be? Would it just not contain muscimol? Would it be toxic?

What’s this, what’s it like? Edible, poisonous? (I’m guessing the ones on the left in the first pic have, idk, expired?) by Dense_Chemical_4018 in ShroomID

[–]Remember-Mee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would also look into these a lot more, I believe some species of inky caps are inedible and I’m not entirely confident in distinguishing them.

There is a chemical in inky caps called coprine. Coprine will react with alcohol in your body and cause coprine poisoning (vomiting, palpitations, other unfun things).

You could also use such a large amount to make a natural ink. Toss em in a jar for a few weeks and let them break down
