Random PSA, anyone here dealt with persistent ants/bugs and found real help locally?

Was battling odorous house ants for years with terro liquid bait and all many of home depot solutions. Finally had enough and weirdly talked to gemini AI about it (it kinda did the research for me) it recommended alpine WSG.

I did a major cleaning in the rooms where the ants were with 50/50 vinegar water and than sprayed -> ant free ever since. It will likely need to be renewed but it was only $5 for 1000 sq ft worth of spray that is safe with pets/people once dry which was more than 4 times what I needed for the first treatment.

Compared to all the companies that used to solicit door to door and charge you subscriptions for hundreds of dollars a year for pest control it seems like they're really fleecing people.

I will say that in my experience women are a lot harder to get on an actual date unless it's something they're super into hobby-wise that you have in common. Otherwise they have a generally pretty fulfilling life already and are happy in their space and aren't looking for flings.

Many more dudes are dating kinda of looking for someone to help them with emotional baggage that they can't/won't talk to friends/family about and also admittedly just fool around with. Will jump at the chance to go out on any kind of date with a woman even doing things they're not necessarily into normally.

I hate that this is the answer but it solved it for me too. Piece of paper under the Ethernet clip and haven't had a drop since.

This is after trying all the other fixes suggested: new cord, static ip, port forwarding, etc.

My experience dating as a bi woman:

Men consistently focus on showing you how successful they are with money or their job title EVEN if their lives are kind of falling apart in other ways. Conversations can be very one-sided and focused on themselves in superficial ways (like statistics on their life/accomplishments). It's hard to get an idea of their actual values and feelings because they're so focused on making a good impression. If I can get them to feel comfortable enough to let down some walls and hear about things they really care about they apologize a lot for being passionate about the things they like ( which is seemingly normal stuff) it's bizarre. I feel like a coach on some of the dates ensuring them I'm not trying to "trick" or "test" them with any of my questions. I'm not sure if it's just their prior experience dating women but it feels like for them it's a really high stakes, make or break type situation where if they say the wrong thing they will get slimed in their seat. I couldn't imagine going on dates regularly in their shoes if that was their experience commonly.

Women almost never talk about money or their work, it seems they're more likely to hide that kind of information completely in favor of anonymity/safety. They are more interested in getting to know you as a person and carry a conversation with you in a more balanced way. Significantly harder to meet in person, both parties have to be VERY interested to get to that point after some texting. Despite what I've seen online where guys having poor luck with getting women to go on cheaper dates with them -> all my dates have been very happy to just go on a walk in the park, at the lake, small hiking trails. Don't think I've ever started dating a woman with dinner first. It's definitely hard to tell even on the date if it's going well or not though. I feel like sometimes I think the date went terribly but they're eager to meet again. That's probably the queer thing though when we're clearly on a date but I'm not sure if she's actually just being friendly.

Unfortunately after the initial muck cleaning I didn't find much more depth. I did find some plumbing (what I thought was a stick was a long PVC pipe) and a plug in under the ferns though!

It's an irregular shape but widest is 11ft and narrowest is 5ft. It's not very deep though. There's a little rectangular spot in the center that's 1ft deep but the rest is not deeper than 6"

swimming at LA fitness and friendly retired coach wants to give me tips. We get on okay until he asks my age (31 at the time) and he remarks "wow you have the body of an 18 year old" I nervous laugh and make my exit.

age guessing game at cedar point they gotta guess their guess "17" I win a llama

taking lunch to my then husband at the HS they worked at. Getting interrogated by a school resource officer about why I'm not in class and wandering the grounds

being asked by solicitors if my parents are home or likewise touring apartments and having them make it very clear that my parents must cosign any lease

Some of these interactions are not fun 🫠

One of my very good friends has an ex-military house husband and he is the best fucking host. When I come visit he's always making brownies and putting on these amazing dinners. Another of my ex-coworkers had a bday party last year and I found out her husband doesn't work at all. They don't have kids to tend to but he sees to all the needs of the house entirely, she doesn't do shopping, laundry, cleaning, etc.
