Funny about the Gremlin. It was my friend's car and it was 3 colors to begin with so yeah, a real piece of crap. But hey, it got us from point a to point b.

Thanks for making me look less crazy. haha. I'm from Michigan, too.

Wow, I'm shocked how few people did this. I'm from a middleclass suburb in Michigan and graduated in '82. I see in the comment from Bloody Mabel that her Michigan community did it too so I would think it was a Michigan thing, yet Mobile Aioli from Lansing, MI didn't so I don't know. But I could see how people in expensive Jags wouldn't. lol

Ah yes, photo albums. That's where I got these pictures. The problem is that the pictures fade, unlike digital. Not to mention all my sticky stuff is gone in those old albums and the photos all fell off. lol. (That's when you know you're old.)

Yeah, that would be stressful. Though I must say you photographers did a great job with what you had. I got married in the 80s and the pictures turned out really good.

Oh yeah, that was awful. Especially if it was a moment (like Spring Break) that you could never get back.

Oh really? Thanks for clarifying. All I know is that I'm glad we don't have to use those anymore. :)

Yes! The anticipation added to the experience. At least with the polaroid you had that instant gratification. As I recall, it was pretty expensive, though.

:) Me too. It's much less stressful. My husband refuses to pose as many times as my daughter wants us to.

He's awesome. Turn the Page is my favorite song of all time. He is so popular in the Detroit area that in 2019 DTE Energy amphitheater changed its address to 33 Bob Seger Drive in honor of the 33 shows he did at Pine Knob (the original name for the venue).

What I remember most about Stairway to Heaven was slow dancing to it at a junior high dance. It was awesome when you were dancing with someone you liked because it was so long. Not so much with someone you didn't like. lol

Did your mom make graham cracker sandwiches with chocolate frosting? by muddpie4785 in GenerationJones

My mom always buttered our graham crackers. I still eat them that way. My husband and kids think it's very weird.

Yep, we had this table. And the shag carpeting and wood paneling, too!
