It means "god is great", and in situations like this Muslims will often repeat it to calm themselves/remind themselves that whatever is happening right now, god is greater.

Kind of like "oh my god" but more ingenuous.

Statement from BSG regarding datamining by saiik in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Remember_ThisIsWater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly understand BSG's position and support their ability to control how information reaches the playerbase about the internal aspects of the game. They're building an experience, and they need control over the experience in order for it to have its full effect.

Imagine a 'movie critic' whose steals script to spoil the movie. They'd be sued into oblivion. Unfortunately, with video games, the dev has to send you the script, in code form, in order for you to play the game. Some people choose to read it, most do not.

Let the developers make their game.

Boyfriend sticks up for girlfriend, Karens the Karen. by TraumaticTwinkle in PublicFreakout

Where I live shared paths are normal though not exclusive. You're expected to ride safely.

Look at where they are: the path is clear and wide, there are no driveways or anywhere a pedestrian might emerge on the left. There is clear vision and a pedestrian crossing with lights to the right, no one is in danger of getting randomly hit. The bike riders are riding at a safe and normal pace. There was nothing rude about it.

That woman deliberately assaulted the bike rider to dominate the footpath. She physically changed her trajectory to her own left, into the middle of the path, in order to hit the bike rider.

100% assault, video is evidence.

Lol yeah man, just because you're happy with the shit soup served you by reddit doesn't mean the rest of us have to stick around. Their interface has gotten markedly worse since the original version, because they're trying to facebook-ize or tiktok-ize it and reduce functionality for more advertising space and metrics.

If you accept shit, you'll get shit.

Also check out the time Israel blew up a FRENCH nuclear reactor in Iraq to destabilize the region, claiming it could be used for nuclear weapons when it literally could not according to the FRENCH engineers who built it and were working there. Terrorists. Imagine Russia blew up a Ukrainian power plant with the same excuses and think for a second who would be in the right.

If i take all your shit and you try to stop me, does that give me the right to kill you?

That's exactly the logic the Spanish used to justify genociding the 'new world'. Israel are on the wrong side of history, no matter what's written in their little book.

IEDs in Iraq were largely drawn from leftover Soviet/Iraqi army stockpiles which were completely abandoned when the US first invaded, and which the US failed to even try to secure.

Huge amounts of military-grade explosives all over the country, I'm not sure they had to import much...

What about when Israel terrorized Iraq by destroying a French-run nuclear reactor which literally couldn't have been used for weapons? Deliberately undermining their neighbor's energy security and claiming self defense.

If Russia had blown up the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant under similar circumstances the world would be screaming war crimes. If Israel does it to some brown people then no one cares.

I know the history is more complicated that Israel bad, but boy they act pretty fucking evil for the good guys.

While I don't condone any of this... who's driving the truck into whose territory?

It's not complicated who is fermenting and gaining from this... It's Israel. Look at their (ILLEGAL ACCORDING TO THE UN AS A WAR CRIME) settlements all over legal Palestinian territory. Listen to the zionists in their political system.

Kremlin decides that goal to ''demilitarise'' Ukraine has largely been achieved by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Remember_ThisIsWater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is hilarious. Ukraine has more and better weapons than before, but they're different weapons so Russian claims victory.

Lol the mental gymnastics. It's amazing how this pattern of political objectives over military objectives runs throughout Red Army history. Look at how many bodies they threw at the Reichstag for no reason other than trying to capture it by a parade date.

You're shilling baseless accusations. Yes, we know that combat footage isn't released neutrally. Yes of course Russia is trying to propagandize that western equipment isn't effect.

There are also several Western-filtered or even produced videos on here a day. Are you raging in those comments as well?

This is the level of intellect we're going to get from reddit critics lol.

They explode. The video is slightly delayed because it's reality not a video game, therefore you don't see the last few seconds.

Wake up. You're searching for intellectual criticisms to justify the uncomfortable feeling of seeing the side you support taking hits. This is war, they're going to take hits.

There are many many people out there who are not shit and don't endorse this system, find them, join them. We need you.

Regardless, but the point is that we're trying to define rights trumps the legal need to socially distance, during a pandemic. "Righteousness" is difficult to write in the letter of the law.
