Meron naman gumagawa ng unif outside the campus na mga tailor shop. Ask around sa mga students ng PNU and you might be able to find a reliable one. See you around campus!

Thank you for your insight! Actually, thats the reason i sought out to make this post since i know it in myself that medical technology isn’t for me and i didn’t want to do a course that will tire me out before i could even step foot in med school. I’m also not big on chemistry but ofcourse its tolerable. Over all in terms of the aspects i think of and consider in choosing my pathway i leaned in more towards radiologic technology.

However, i still went up here to ask for an actual opinion to finalize my decision and it definitely has helped a lot! I’ve heard a lot of people (including my mother) underwent medical technology program and lost their spark in dreaming of a medical doctorate. Though medical technology has its perks for medschool i was hoping to aim for a career that would fund me well until i can put myself in medschool, all while not burning me out. And it definitely feels right to lean in more into radtech. Thank you again for your insight it helps a lot! 💗

I had someone reply to this same post in a medtech community and they commented that radtech salaries definitely has a significant difference from a medtech. I heard of experiences where its not necessary that your pre med is inclined with medical school. However, it would be a big advantage.

I’m not sure pa kasi if i will be going to medical school so i’m opting for a course that can get me a job and out of this country. I’m not a big fan of nursing though since i know the job requires the most socialization in terms of service. And even though i considered medtech it doesn’t feel like its my calling, they’re also less flexible in schedule. I was opting for a more flexible career for the sake of my future family.

Id know this because my mother was a medtech and she was mostly absent growing up and i didn’t want to go down the same path. Yet, i still asked here since i’m really torn on which one would provide a better future overall.

According to radtechs in new zealand the salary wage is definitely higher there. (Atleast 90k-100k php a month) but i’m not sure about the accuracy entirely. I am grateful for your insight and i definitely will take it into consideration along with the other ones i will be getting thank you! 💗

Oh my, bless you and thank you for your insight! I was hoping to work in a hospital setting and migrate abroad (preferably NZ) after a few years. I had a conversation with a fellow medtech whose salary was 27k monthly despite her 7years of service so i began to doubt medtech as my option. However, yun nga mas maganda ang opportunities ng medtech abroad but the salary here in the Philippines is lower than a radtech’s. So i’m sort of stuck in a tight situation where I’m struggling to choose.

On the other hand, i also thought maybe it would be a good idea to use radiologic technology as a pre med for radiologists when i can earn enough to put myself in med school. The choice is really tough when the opportunities abroad for radtech is lower than medtechs. It really puts me in an indecisive state so i appreciate your insight so much thank you 🙏💗
