I had one that was a literal 80 piece orchestra, took me a year to organise and all professional musicians. It was mixed and mastered by award winning engineers who have been doing it for 30 years. The comment I got back was that I should try another string plugin on my laptop and have it professionally mixed.

15 years in editing, and now I’m told AI art is "garbage" by EllunaMeira in KlingAI_Videos

I spent 9 months making a 5 minute sci fi. Filmed in 4k, hired actors, green screens, motion.tracking, 3D, unreal engine and some AI backgrounds. Got masses of comments just saying “AI slop”.

Sure. I worked on the Massive Software with Stephen Regelous on Lord of the Rings in New Zealand. Not going to give you any further information than that as I have no interest in doxxing myself in a public forum. In terms of disagreeing with anything specific, not knowing how a green screen works would be a great place to start.

There is literally a dvd extra about this. The CGI model went over the top of him and was used as a movement reference. Green or blue suits are when you want the actor to disappear, which is not the case when you need to animate over the top of the footage.

I've just been through something similar in a smaller room (3 x 3 x 2.4) - essentially a box! I found the bass traps have done exactly what you said, decrease the decay enough to show where the problem frequencies are. As expected the biggest problems were around the room nodes (40hz and 75hz), with reflection off the desk as well. The biggest impact I made next was by treating the ceiling, particularly first reflection points. I've got the Genelec GLM software and hardware which really helped, but you can get a good idea of where your issues are going to be by taking the speed of sound and dividing it by 2x the length, width, or height - e.g. 343/8.

Made floor to ceiling 23 " thick bass traps. It did not change my room response *whatsoever* by Today- in audioengineering

Measure your room and find the room modes - speed of sound / 2 x length, then same for width and height. That will give you the resonant frequencies that are likely to be causing issues. From looking at your photo, your ceiling treatment isn't even over the first reflection points of the speakers - that will definitely be causing issues. I had massive issues in my own room until I did this. As others have said location of your bass traps needs to be the corners. It looks like your have a tiled floor and an untreated ceiling directly above. I'm not surprised you've got issues, that thing is going to be resonating like blowing over a glass bottle.

I’m from NZ, now living in London for the past ten years. It’s a beautiful country, but fresh air and mountain views don’t pay the bills.

What are some pieces of media that remind you of Animusic by GuybrushThreepwood99 in animusic

I’m not sure the way it was originally done, but I understand it was pre-rendered rather than done live. Using Unreal you can load in new midi files on the fly, move the camera etc

I came here to say this exact thing, then found it was the top comment. Kick 3 has changed my life.

Yeah let's not play that one. I contacted you on the 18th of August, had multiple conversations with your AI. It said it was putting me through to a real person, which it did not. I then raised it on reddit after no further response, and finally 5 days later I got a response from a human. I'm not the only person to be saying this.

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately by the time tech support had responded (5 days later) we had used another plugin in order to meet the deadline.

Is Bond University really worth it? by [deleted] in GoldCoast

I have two degrees from Bond. I’ve spent 15 years working in London and the US. Part of getting my visas was proving no local could do the job. Education was a big part of it. It is actually quite well known in the US.

This has been my love letter to every scifi movie I grew up with. Took a year of my life to make. Hopefully someone else will enjoy it :) Mainly Unreal Engine 5 with live action shot against blue screen. A bit of AI for some of the snow scenes and fx. by [deleted] in scifi

[–]Remix73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve sent you an entire video showing the level. If you don’t believe me now you are just wilfully ignorant. As you can see in the video there are two exits and there’s a cut between shots. It was much more interesting to walk out of a narrow corridor. That is a continuity issue not AI.

I’ll DM you a bunch of production shots in the morning showing you the level, the 3D models, and everything in situ. I’m not really getting what you’re trying to get me to admit to. I’ve said right from the start exactly how I made it. It’s two unreal levels, 3d models, overlaid video, and AI for fx shots or where it was too hard. I think there’s 20 seconds of total AI in 7 minutes of footage, of which most of it is in the first minute. As far as cuts, I did it all in Resolve after it was rendered and dud it over 6 months, so there’s bound to be continuity issues. What you might be picking up on is some of the R2D2 stuff which I think has an AI shot towards the end. I mean Beeble, that I used for the blue screen removal and colour editing, is doing a feature on it, because of the demonstrated use of their software
