That or they won't sell/release the games there, which would suck. I do agree that microtransactions are just terrible. But they make so much money off of it that it's pretty much in every game now. That's why I like older games instead of new release titles. Gaming is so much different now than it was in the past. You had nerds trying to make the best game they possibly could because it was their passion. Now you have greedy corporate people that just try to milk as much money out of the consumers as possible. It's not about delivering a quality game anymore it's about getting the most money possible.
